The Asia Tourism Association (ATA) is a Malaysia-based organization registered under the Registrar of Societies Malaysia (ROS). ATA plays a vital role in advancing tourism education, training, and professional development across Asia.

Through its dedicated education and training arms—the ASEAN School of Tourism, the Asia Center for Tourism, and the Africa Center for Hospitality & Tourism—ATA actively delivers industry-relevant seminars, training programs, and capacity-building initiatives for tourism and hospitality practitioners. These initiatives are designed to strengthen industry skills, promote sustainable tourism practices, and support workforce readiness across the region.

ATA currently offers over 32 tourism and hospitality programs, ranging from professional certifications to academic pathways, aligned with global industry standards. The Association has also organized numerous high-impact seminars, conferences, workshops, and forums, bringing together policymakers, academic institutions, industry leaders, and practitioners from Asia and beyond.

In line with its commitment to youth development and inclusive education, ATA provides FREE sponsorship opportunities for youths across Asia to pursue a three-year Degree program in Malaysia, creating pathways for quality education, skills enhancement, and international exposure in the tourism and hospitality sector.
